We all enjoy great photography, and as a photographer i probably love it even more than normal ! When im not working im either making photos or looking at photos other people have made for inspiration. My top places to look are Instagram and YouTube, and both offer different inspiration and lessons to help you improve your own photography. Starting with YouTube, in no real order i will share my favorite channels for you to watch in the future and catch up on years worth of content !
Peter Mckinnon
His name might not be new to you, and for good reason, he has over 4 million subscribers and it huge on YouTube. He does photography and video, making lessons, tech reviews, travel vlogs and lots more! He has a few years of videos to go through and watch, and learn from and is just a super likable watchable guy.
Bendan Van Son
Bendan has been traveling and vlogging for 10+ years and has around 150k subscribers. He vlogs himself traveling the world taking photos for himself and for clients, has lots of business advice and tips and reviews and just a bit of everything, and like peter he is another Canadian, i think they are just likable people!
Evan Ranft
From Atlanta, USA with 150k followers also he is a vlogger that covers personal work, some client work and occasionally travel. He also gives lots of business, photography and technical advice. He has lots of years of videos on YouTube and does collaborations with other youTubers.
James Popsys
A British photographer and vlogger and a funny one at that! He has almost 100k followers, and does a lot of travel vlogging for personal reasons and client work and gives a good insight into the business side of the photography world. He isn’t perfect and thats what makes him so watchable i think.
Thomas Heaton
Another British photographer focusing heavily on landscape photography and outdoor life. He spends a lot of time either in a camper van traveling the country, or in a foreign country with a bunch of other YouTubers. He has almost 400k followers and actually meets up and colaborates with Bendan Van Son a few times a year and hosts tours! Very knowledgable and gives lots of advice on landscapes and editing.
Mitchell Coyle
He is a fairly new to YouTube, and i noticed him on one of Bendan Van Son’s vlogs while he was taking part in a tour. He has 600ish followers, but makes very good travel vlogs, well edited and fantastic photographs. He is also making more videos on other types of photography and its quite interesting to watch and well worth a follow!
